Hi, I'm Gabriela! I coach ambitious individuals on a time budget to achieve their health and wellness goals by creating sustainable habits & unleashing their limitless potential.
My fascination with health and the incredible human body earned me my B.S. in Nutrition from Virginia Tech in 2013, but the learning never stopped. I quickly realized that this field is ever-evolving and that true well-being extends beyond our diet. This shapes my holistic understanding and reflects my own exploration.
Having navigated my personal wellness journey, I’ve tried various approaches and learned valuable lessons along the way - and let’s be honest, I’m still learning every single day! I’ve struggled with negative body image, over-restricted, calorie-counted, and worked out motivated only to “burn” and “earn”. I finally recognized that healthy means nourishing yourself both on and off our plate. Today, I’ve found a peaceful balance though I recognize that it requires ongoing effort to maintain. As I adapted my mindset and needs over time, I discovered the importance of flexibility and self-compassion, which is reflected in how I connect with and guide my clients (I dive deeper into ‘What Our Partnership Looks Like’ in the next section).
In my spare time, you’ll find me in the kitchen. Which is why I’ll be sharing some of my favorite recipes here—some easy, “cook once, eat twice” weekday meals, and others that are more fun and adventurous. When I’m not cooking (or doing dishes) I love to move. I equally crave time outdoors and my studio time. I’ve been a fitness instructor for nearly a decade, teaching everything from barre to yoga sculpt to fusion classes. My coaching style spills over here, too. I insist on breaking a sweat with a smile and making our workouts efficient, challenging and fun. Music is everything and I spend entirely too long crafting my playlists, but I enjoy every second of it.
